My name is Danielle, a writer living in the Pacific Northwest. I poetry, fantasy, and music.
So, I usually send out text and e-mails to my friends when I am writing, for feedback, inspiration or advice. Today I thought, why the heck not let everyone in on it? It reminds me of when I used to read Choose Your Adventure books when I was in middle school, the story was never the same twice. There is no purpose other than mental fun (and I will end up witha story from it, for sure).
Last Friday night I had an inspiration for a story and I love talking out the details with people as I am drafting the storyline. This will probably be a short story or a script.
Here goes:
What would happen if you woke up one day and found your husband turning into a dragon?
as he discovers he has grown talons on the inside of his anklebones, does he a) hide them, b) sharpen them, c) try to grind them off, d)tell people or f) any other thing?
Some things to consider:
1. Are there nerves in the talons?
2. Could you get your shoes on?
3. Gloves would cover the talons long enough to get to the pedicure place
These are all questions that came up from one text.
Here is today's question:
Why might my husband be turning into a dragon?
Just go wherever it leads you. I'll post the first paragraph tomorrow night.
And thanks! I love collaborative art.
